A Cavapoo is a hybrid of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Mini Poodle.

Question 2: How big will my Cavapoo get?

Cavapoos typically weigh between 10-14 pounds.

Question 3: Do Cavapoos shed?

They are low-shedding, thanks to their Poodle lineage, but still require regular brushing.

Question 4: What are the typical coat types and colors?

Cavapoos may sport wavy to curly coats, and colors include apricot, red, black, tri-color, and more.

Question 5: Do Cavapoos bark a lot or act aggressive?

Generally not barky or aggressive, though they may give a polite alert.

Question 6: Are Cavapoos good with children and other pets?

Yes, they are affectionate, playful, and typically great with kids and pets.

Absolutely—intelligent and eager to please, they respond well to positive reinforcement.

Question 8: When should I start training my Cavapoo puppy?

Training can begin as early as 8 weeks, focusing on basics and socialization.  We will be sending home a training video, transition tips and a potty training schedule. 

Question 9: Is crate training helpful for Cavapoos?

Yes, crate training provides security and supports potty training.

Question 10: What exercise and mental stimulation do they need?

Moderate daily walks, playtime, and mental enrichment like puzzles or training.

Question 11: Do Cavapoos suffer from separation anxiety?

Yes, they bond closely with families and can develop separation anxiety if left alone.  We have some tips for you to avoid this issue for your puppy. 

Question 12: What kind of grooming does a Cavapoo need?

Regular brushing, grooming every 4–8 weeks, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and dental care.

Question 13: What’s their average lifespan?

Typically 12–15 years with proper care.

Question 14: What type of Cavapoo is this?

Our puppies are F1 Cavapoos so 1st generation AKC bloodlines for both parents.

Question 15: How does the 30 days of Pet Insurance that you offer work?

We will give you a phone number to call within 24 hours of receiving your puppy and a CODE needed to activate the 30 days of Free Pet Insurance that will be activated the day your puppy goes home.  You can choose weather you will keep the coverage after 30 days or not.
